First Baptist Church of Media believes the Bible to be the Word of the living God, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We rejoice to testify to the truth of the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His vicarious death for sinful humanity, the efficacy of His shed blood, His bodily resurrection and ascension, His present ministry as intercessor and Advocate, and His personal, premillennial return for His own.
Leadership
Pastor Bob Beverly has been at First Baptist Church of Media since October, 1998. He is a graduate of Appalachian Bible College (BA in Bible/Pastoral), Liberty University (MRE /Counseling), and Cairn University (MDiv). Pastor Bob and his wife, Jayne, have 4 children and 13 grandchildren. His hobbies include motorcycle riding, hiking, hunting, and visiting auto shows.
